As a Patient Care Associate, you'll be the cornerstone of our patient care team, collaborating closely with nurses and physicians to deliver comprehensive medical attention. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Addressing patient inquiries and determining appropriate assistance
- Diligently recording patient symptoms, medical history, and any changes in their condition
- Making necessary referrals to specialists when required
- Measuring and documenting patients' vital signs
- Devising and implementing individualized patient care plans based on thorough assessments
- Administering medications and initiating intravenous fluids, carefully noting times and amounts
- Providing essential patient care, including temperature and blood pressure checks, wound care, massage therapy, and hot/cold applications
